12/28/2022 0 Comments Pokemon xy style![]() The outfit I wore didn’t even cost that much. Ridiculous! Not only that, but most of that price doesn’t come from just one article of clothing each price contributes to the half a mil. Half a million Pokedollars for a whole outfit. Not at all.Įverything is new, no default clothing: purse, stocking, shoes, everything. I say “open wallet” because nothing there is cheap. Viola! They welcome you with open arms as you welcome them with open wallet. Once you buy your outfit, return to Lumiose City and enter the boutique. ![]() (I think the hat was either default or bought at a cheap price in Santalune City, and the purse and socks were default.) The overall price of the outfit was about 18,000 Pokedollars for the dress and boots alone. In the outfit consists of a felt hat (pink), single-front coat dress (pink), and laced boots. (Sorry for the picture quality I used my phone camera since I had no software for screen capture/recording my 3DS.) If anyone needs a little more help figuring out what would be considered stylish in Lumiose boutique’s standards, I’ll share what I bought at Laverre’s boutique. In there, just buy an outfit that is displayed on a mannequin and it will be stylish enough to give you entrance into Lumiose City’s boutique. After you get your fifth badge, you travel to Laverre City, where one of the boutiques reside. When I was able to shop at the boutique, I had acquired my 5th Badge. I hate to say this, but for anyone hoping to shop in the boutique early on in the game are out of luck. So, how to gain acceptance into this boutique? Unfortunately, the moment you walk in, you’re immediately kicked out for not being “stylish” enough. You can enter the boutique in Lumiose City once you actually make it to the city. That’s what I hope to help you with in this post, since I was able to make it into the store. The only way you can buy new clothes and accessories for your trainer is by going into boutiques at the following cities, in order of when you unlock/visit :įor anyone that has played Pokemon X/Y, you’re probably scratching your head, wondering why that Lumiose City is ordered second, even though it technically isn’t unlocked until you satisfy a certain requirement. Other than that, you can finally differentiate yourself from thousands of other Pokemon trainers (as best you can). Also, choice for skin tone is limited to the first three you’re given at the start. Although, the only accessories I’ve seen (so far) are hat accessories, scarves, and backpacks/purses. In Pokemon X/Y, you can change whatever you’d like on your trainer until you’re happy with their look: eye color, hair style and color, accessories, and even clothes. ![]() Imagine how happy I was to hear that you could customize your trainer in Pokemon X/Y? (About time!) If you’re anything like me, one of your favorite things that a video game can include is customization. I found another method that helps increase style, allowing access to Boutique Couture, which is the easiest, in my opinion. October 21st – UPDATE: I’m going to make a separate post for this, since this post is long enough. It may take shorter or longer than the method I described, depending on how quick you play through the steps. October 19th – UPDATE: I have an update at the very bottom of this post, which is an alternative to getting into Lumiose City’s Boutique. ![]() Pokemon X/Y: Character Customization – Lumiose City Boutique
